After taking a degree in Image and Sound in the Faculty of Information Sciences (Complutense University) in 1982, he began to work in the radio in Lugo. In 1985, he moved to Compostela to take charge of the Film Library of Galicia, dependent of the ‘Consellería de Educación e Cultura’ (Xunta de Galicia). At the end of that year, he totally devoted himself to dubbing mainly for Galician TV. In the 90’s he directed the dubbing of different films for its commercial distribution: ‘El Último Gran Héroe’, ‘El Fugitivo’, ‘Perdidos en África’... He is an associate Professor in the Faculty of Communication Sciences and teaches Cinematographic Direction and Performance. Since May 2011 he has been the president of the Galician Audiovisual Academy.

 Work & Activities

In 2000, he played ‘Gonzalo Lantaño’ in the fiction serial ‘Rías Baixas’ on Galician TV. From that moment onwards, he devoted himself to his work as an actor, participating in the following films: ‘O Lapis do Carpinteiro’, ‘O Alquimista Impaciente’, ‘Os luns ó Sol’, ‘O ano da Carracha’ and ‘Pra que non me olvides’ and four TV-Movies (‘Entre Bateas’, ‘Secuestrados en Xeorxia’, ’Autopsia’ and ‘A Rosa De Alexandría’) TV series: "Mareas Vivas", "Terra de Miranda", "As Leis de Celavella”... In 2009, he played Santiago Táboas in "Os Matalobos". In 2012, he participated in "Imperium", Bambú Producciones for Antena 3, and in an episode of "El Tiempo entre Costuras" for Antena 3 too. During 2012 and at the beginning of 2013 he participated in "Libro de Familia" for TVG. In 2013, he formed part of "El Secreto de Puenteviejo" for Antena 3. He also participated in "El Quid", a web serial presented in May 2013 at the Cannes Festival.
